Corporate responsibility is a mindset at SPND. It is inherent in our thinking and day-to-day work. This allows us to use skills and commitment to bring about a positive change in communities close to home. Our commitment to the society remains steadfast and resolute. And it reflects in several of our regular initiatives that see whole-hearted participation from the entire SPND Family.
The SPND team came together to fulfil special wishes during the Joy of Giving Week. We played host to a sweet little gang of 120 underprivileged kids who couldn’t contain their excitement over visiting our office.
A Wish Tree was put up on the office premises with wishes of every kid, and the SPND employees took it upon themselves to fulfil each wish. All the gifts that were collected during this activity, were handed over to the NGOs we had collaborated with for this event: Navnirman Samaj Kendra and Sneha Sadan.
The kids were also treated to a fun and inspiring talk by few of our employees. Moreover, a painting session was organised that saw extremely enthusiastic participation from the children as they let their imaginations loose on the paper. A few of them also expressed their gratitude with some amazing paintings.
It was truly a special day for all of us at SPND and we hope to continue making a difference in various spheres of life.
Reducing carbon footprint is a collective effort. In 2013, in collaboration with Utthan, we initiated Green Yatra – a CSR activity to make surroundings greener and better place to live. In New Delhi, employees had planted saplings on a barren land, with a promise to look after that place on a regular basis. This eco-friendly initiative was prominently featured in the article “Harbingers of Change” in Delhi Jagran City Plus.
